The technology:

The Renovadex technology is an  advanced and innovative technology of repairing and refurbishing thermal insulations both in the case of  accidental damages, as well as due to premature wear. It also enables repairing the thermal insulation layer in the case of either material or work defects. Worth mentioning is the fact that generally ETICS life expectancy is estimated to ca 25 – 30 years. Every owner of an insulated  building will, sooner or later, face the dilemma: to repair, refurbish the existing thermal insulation or, to remove it and cover the building with a new one.

On basis of many years of experiments, tests and laboratory research,  ADEX developed the unique  innovative  RENOVADEX  technology.

The RENOVADEX technology, implementing unique, patented technical and material solutions, enables carrying out repairs and refurbishment of ETICS without the necessity of removing the  existing insulation layers.
This is very important when taking into account the more and more strict environmental laws and increasing costs of  dumping building waste containing remains of EPS mixed with adhesives and used plastic fixing pins.

Exploration of old thermal insulation systems revealed unexpected good condition of the EPS panels which may still form an effective thermal insulation layer without jeopardizing the durability of the entire post-refurbishment system.

The crucial element of the RENOVADEX technology is the multipurpose, absolutely innovative fixing pin developed to bond the  thermal insulation system both mechanically and with adhesives.

RENOVADEX Rx - 240 the construction of this unique pin enables adjusting its length during fixing the insulation layers and injecting the PU adhesive through its perforated hollow stem. This results in a reliable and durable bond.
