Repairing loosened insulation systems Due to various reasons the insulation layer binding may loosen from the wall. Numerous cases, given a thorough analysis, proved that the mechanical ( plastic fixing pins) and adhesive bond to the carrying wall became loose. Wind pressure and suction caused weakening of the insulation system fixing and eventually some parts of the insulation simply fell off. (see photos and bookmark of defects)
The Renovadex technology, using special tools and materials, enables repairing such defects. The loosened system is mechanically “ tightened” coplanar to the wall, re-fixed with special pins and additionally glued with PU adhesives. This repair technology minimizes the occurrence of spot thermal bridges by reducing the number of fixing pins. Detailed technical and material solutions are contained in refurbishment projects developed by designing offices familiar with the technology and granted the right to use patent pending solutions. |
