The RENOVADEX technologies are highly advanced technical solutions enabling repairing and refurbishing facades insulated both with EPS and mineral wool (ETICS), but are particularly designed for fixing of supplementary insulation systems without removing the existing insulating layers.
The crucial element of the RENOVADEX technology are the multipurpose, absolutely innovative, patented, plastic fixing pins with a threaded, hollow stem and screwed plates developed to bond the thermal insulation system both mechanically and with adhesives. The hollow, perforated stem enables injecting the adhesive and distributing it within the fixing pin surrounding zone, between the building wall and the insulating panels, as well as between the existing and newly added insulating layers. Such treatment significantly strengthens the double insulation layer bonding to the building carrying wall.
Primarily, the RENOVADEX technologies feature:
- certainty of proper fixing of the pins in the anchoring hole (guarantee of correct depth regardless of the real distance between the wall and the insulating panels);
- reduction of thermal bridges number occurring when using existing technologies. In the RENOVADEX technology one fixing pin is used to bond both the existing and the new insulating systems. The very high load carrying capacity of RENOVADEX Rx-240 pins reduces their number required per 1 m2 down to 4 pieces only;
- unique possibility of mechanical-adhesive strengthening of the existing insulation systems by injecting adhesives through the hollow, perforated pin stem.
- Possibility of “mechanical tightening” loosened insulation systems due to the original and patented construction of the RENOVADEX Rx-240 fixing pin ( a threaded, hollow stem and screwed plates);
- resistance to extreme weather conditions ( wind pressure and suction) proved in mechanical-adhesive load carrying capacity tests of the RENOVADEX Rx-240 pins exceeding all known bonding means used in insulation systems;
- economical efficiency and meeting valid regulations as regards environmental protection policy (elimination of non decomposable and arduous for the environment waste).
